Resolution of Accountability
It is the desire of the President of Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. and the Board of Directors to ensure that the organization maintains the highest levels of credibility, integrity, and accountability.
The Board of Directors approves the following resolution to be followed by the President, Ministry Directors, staff, and all others who become connected to Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc.
Statement of Policy
Because Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. operates on the basis of donations, special contributions, gifts, funding from the general public, and profits from J.L. Divine Designs, the organization has set high standards for receiving and distributing all finances intended for the ministry:
Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. uses all contributions, gifts, and donations designated for Shepherd's Gate Missions to support the ministry, its projects, and programs caring for the needy.
Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. guards against engaging in any form of activity that compromises Christian ethics as it relates to finances.
Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. keeps accurate books and records of all contributions, donations, and gifts and offers tax receipts to those who request them after the end of each year.
Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. does not and will not sell names of those on our email or mailing lists to any other organization.
This Resolution of Accountability was adopted by the Board of Directors for Shepherd's Gate Mission's, Inc. on January 2, 2008.
